Gerald obtained his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Social Work from the prestigious McMaster University. He then obtained his Master's of Social Work from Dalhousie University and entered private practice following his studies. Gerald is a published author, speaker, and continuing education trainer.

Gerald was a competitive boxer and continues to enjoy daily runs, exercise, and spending time with his family. He is an avid reader and researcher, ensuring he is up‑to‑date on the latest interventions and research findings. He is in the process of writing his second book. Gerald loves coffee and has a witty sense of humour.

Tamar Hidegh is a trauma-focused clinician with a deep commitment to supporting those who serve and protect. She began her career working in the field of addiction, where she quickly recognized that substance use was often a symptom of unresolved trauma. This insight led her to specialize in trauma therapy, where she now works extensively with military veterans, police officers, paramedics, firefighters, and other frontline professionals.

Tamar’s current clinical focus includes post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex PTSD (C-PTSD), and moral injury, with a particular emphasis on the unique ways trauma impacts uniformed service members. She understands that experiences such as chronic exposure to threat, operational stress, and ethical conflicts can deeply affect identity, relationships, and nervous system regulation.

Tamar believes that effective trauma treatment must address both the cognitive and physiological imprints of trauma, combining insight-based work with body-centred interventions to support lasting healing. Her integrative approach blends evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), somatic interventions, and psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Rylee is a skilled and trauma-focused therapist who provides invaluable support to her clients. She completed her Bachelor of Social Work with a Minor in Indigenous Studies and Criminology at the prestigious Wilfrid Laurier University and her Master's of Social Work at the University of Windsor.

Rylee has professional experience in healthcare, child welfare, and private practice, where she has cultivated expertise in supporting her clients with compassion and understanding.

She is often described as creative, supportive, and understanding, and she brings these qualities into her work to help foster a safe, open space for her clients.

Rylee is accepting new clients in-person in Hamilton during the mornings, afternoons and evenings.

She provides online counselling for those residing anywhere in Ontario.

Durel is a trauma specialist with a special focus on EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapeutic intervention. She has been in practice for almost 20 years, having worked in the United States, Jamaica and Canada. As such, she has a wealth of cross-cultural experiences that have afforded her with a keen sense of cultural sensitivity that comes with working with various populations in a variety of social contexts, including intimate partner violence, adult and youth justice, and adult and youth mental health. Durel has supported Military and First Responders/Frontline Workers for many years.

Durel obtained her Bachelor's Degree from the State University of New York, College at Brockport, and her Master's of Social Work from McMaster University.

She completed her EMDR Training and Certification and has an additional Certificate in Trauma Counselling for Front-Line Workers.

Michelle has experience with individuals and families who have experienced crisis and challenges. She has experience in clinical private practice, the criminal justice system, and over a decade of frontline child welfare. Michelle’s therapeutic approach is holistic and trauma-informed. She believes in the power of authenticity and the therapist-client alliance to create meaningful change in one’s life.

Michelle has a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the prestigious McMaster University in Ontario, Canada. She obtained her Master’s of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario. She completed her Somatic EMDR training through The Embody Lab.

Michelle uses an eclectic approach to therapy, including somatic therapy, cognitive processing, EMDR, strengths-based and solution-focused. She works with individuals and couples, including working around issues of infidelity and relationship strain.

Michelle is an avid forest lover who always looks for a new exploration trail. She has been in the gym since she was 11 years old (may or may not have lied about her age to get past the front desk) and has practiced yoga for over 12 years. She has stacks of books she anticipates reading and hopes to one day be able to stop moving them back and forth between the night table and the bookshelf. You can find her folding her family’s laundry 7 days a week.
